Each territory produces a money and a resource, how much depends on the population, morale, whether you have a railroad or port, etc. You have territories with cities and armies in them. Whoever sets up the game will set a peace time that you can't attack other players in, that'll give you a chance to cut your teeth against computer players and ask questions. Still no idea how the game works but I'm TheLastDays over there as well, ready to be butt-kicked, Sir! And I did, up until my constraints kicked me in the butt. The political situation will depend on the next game though-I thought I had enough production independence to operate freely in this game. I feel that an alliance is an alliance is an alliance-and I'm bound to it I didn't want to get mired down in one when a mere 'agreement' would do for my immediate needs. You're right, I didn't bind to any alliances this game. There were a few occasions I had to shut down my railroads too, in order to conserve coal for specialized unit production. The cities I did have in the rear that could produce were isolated by water, forcing me to load & unload at port (sometimes multiple times) and slowing down the transportation 'cause you can't build railroads over water. I was caught in a dilemma between defensively fortifying my cities on the mainland to hold them, and expanding their production capability. I couldn't get them into place fast enough to sustain the offensive initiative. Looking forward to us having enough people for a game!ฤก. I think I didn't assess the problems of him assaulting your territories and the morale hit for the amphibious expeditions, since it sounds like it actually turned into more of a stalemate rather than a Tripler-O-Rama. I figured that once Tripler had the Philippines, he would have the power to take you all on at once, so I set you guys to see my map so that you could see the threat. I also misjudged the game-state around the end there. I was more than a little pessimistic throughout the game - I think it maybe had something to do with sending expeditionary force after expeditionary force to Taiwan only to see them all demolished by Scuba and KidV :m: Squid never ever believed me when I told him he was in fine shape. I was never 100% sure that he and Squid didn't work something out once Squid had decided he had lost so that Trip could have his territory. Trip went off the reservation at the end.I think. The three of us had an agreement, or so I thought. In retrospect, that should have made me very suspicious of him :fist: ) Tripler was very conscientious about not having an actual alliance agreement. I never could tell, did the two of you have an agreement or were you just allies of convenience? desc : *** The IP addresses under this Org-ID are in use by Google Cloud customers ***,Direct all copyright and legal complaints to, all spam and abuse complaints to, fastest response, use the relevant forms above.,Complaints can also be sent to the GC Abuse desk,( ),but may have longer turnaround times.,Complaints sent to any other POC will be ignored.Tripler crawling up your backside was what finally did you in, the sneaky bastard.
